GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP CLEAN UP DAY

Greenwood Township will hold its annual Clean Up Day on Saturday, September 12th from 8:00 AM until Noon.

This event is FREE and open to Greenwood Township residents only.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
Car tires
Ash
Dirt
Concrete
Household chemicals
Televisions
IMPORTANT – PLEASE DO NOT DUMP ITEMS BEFORE OR AFTER CLEAN UP DAY HOURS

Items may ONLY be placed in the dumpsters between 8:00 AM and Noon on September 12th.

Please do not leave items in or around the dumpsters before the event begins or after the event has ended.

During Clean Up Day, items must be properly sorted and placed in the appropriate dumpsters. Sorting materials helps reduce disposal costs and allows the Township to continue offering this event free of charge to our residents.

The dumpster area is monitored by security cameras. Unauthorized dumping outside of the designated Clean Up Day hours is prohibited.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep the cost of this event as low as possible for Greenwood Township taxpayers.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: I’m putting AI data center developers on notice.

If they want to even think about doing business in Pennsylvania, they must adhere to the strictest standards in the nation — AND get approval from the local community.

Pennsylvanians deserve the right to say NO to unwanted AI data center projects and block developers who are trying to bully their way into our neighborhoods without addressing neighbors’ concerns.

**update for clarification **

As of this post, there have been no formal plans presented to place a data center in Greenwood Township. This is not a meeting to express interests “for” or “against” data centers. It is simply a meeting to inform the public as to the protections offered to communities through the new data center amendment to the county wide SALDO.

Crawford County Planning will be available at the next township meeting on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 6:30pm to discuss the countywide SALDO amendment regarding data centers. The monthly meeting are open to the public.

⚠Attention: Scott Rd Residents and Surrounding Areas

The Pennsylvania State Police are looking for trail camera/ring camera footage from the Scott Rd area from approximately 8/10 at 12:30pm- present that may show Mr. Fries and his movements.

If you live in the area, please check any security cameras/trail cameras/Ring camera for footage. If you believe you have images of Mr. Fries, please contact PSP immediately at 814-332-6911.
