We have changed our operating hours. We are now open Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 4:00 and we are open on the first and third Saturdays each month of the year.

The Cass County Environmental Control Agency is seeking a qualified individual for the Director position at the Cass County Transfer Station and Recycling Center. This facility is
located near Atlantic, Iowa. This position manages all aspects of the Transfer Station operations for the Cass County Environmental Control Agency Board. Management duties
will include budget development and administration, staff management, and responsibilities for daily operations. The Director will also be actively involved in those daily operations.
This position requires knowledge of general accounting practices or comparable experience in bookkeeping.
Qualified applicant should possess experience in a landfill, recycling facility, or other solid
waste management site operation, or equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform position responsibilities.
This position is exempt and reports to the Cass County Environmental Control Agency Board.

The Cass County Transfer Station (Landfill) is seeking to fill a part-time scale operator position.

The position would require commitment to working alternate Saturday mornings and during the week as needed, approximately 16 hours/week. Multi-tasking, phone and basic computer skills required; mechanical and equipment experience would be a plus (to allow filling in for other duties on site).
