At Goodrich, excellence doesn't stop at the finish line — it carries into the classroom too! We're proud to recognize our Fall Scholar-Athletes, students who dominated BOTH on the field and in their coursework this season. 👏

To earn this honor, these Martians had to check some serious boxes:

✅ Varsity letter in an FML- sponsored sport
✅ 3.5+ cumulative GPA (through the previous semester or trimester)
✅ At least 10th grade standing

Balancing practices, meets, matches, and academics is no small feat — and these students made it look easy. That's what it means to be a student-athlete! 💙

A little teamwork goes a long way! 🥰

The dugouts at Reid Elementary recently received a much-needed makeover, thanks to the generosity and hard work of some wonderful members of our Goodrich community!

A special thank you to Suzanne Taylor, owner of Love to Play Softball, and her husband for leading this project. Suzanne has spent more than 30 years sharing her love of softball, mentoring young athletes, and helping them grow both on and off the field. Her passion for the game and commitment to giving back continue to make a difference!

We also want to give a big shoutout to the softball players who volunteered their time to repair, repaint, and bring new life to the dugouts. They look fantastic!

This is what makes our Goodrich community so special - people coming together, giving their time, and making a lasting impact for our students. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen! 💙 💛

Keeping our Martians safe is a responsibility we all share! This week, we're reminding our students, families, and community to practice school bus safety. Slow down, stay alert, and always stop for buses when their red lights are flashing.

A little extra caution goes a long way in keeping our students safe on their way to and from school! 💙 💛

It's important to learn about the many different jobs that are out there in the world! You can always fail at things you don't like or don't want to do, so you may as well try something you're passionate about and give it a shot."

"I was always inspired by my high school English teacher, Mr. Jesse Nardizzi, who taught with a passion and dedication that was palpable. I always loved coming to his class, and he was a teacher that made me feel confident in myself."
