Always look for ways to prevent these injuries and deaths from happening to the children in your care:

• Reduce distractions in the vehicle
• Set a reminder item related to the child in the front seat next to you
• Get rest and reduce your stress
• Be aware if your morning drop-off routine is disrupted to prevent auto-pilot mode
• Consider changing your morning drop-off route from time-to-time to prevent auto-pilot mode

Fun Fact Friday!

On a really slow week we get at least 10 calls for women needing emergency shelter. They are either homeless, living in the street, their car or couch surfing. Or we are their last resort to being homeless.

Hope House does not save beds. Mainly because people will call and not show up.

Hope House is a high barrier shelter. This means we have rules and drug test and will ask you to leave if you cannot or will not follow our rules and program. We offer structure and a new way to live.
