Attalla City Schools is excited to share some wonderful news for our students, families, and community!

We have been notified that a collaborative grant application submitted in partnership with MAXimizing Mental Health, Inc. has been selected for funding. This incredible opportunity will provide a full-time licensed mental health professional to serve students at Etowah Middle School and Etowah High School for the next five years.

Through this grant, students will have access to free mental health services year-round, including during the summer months, helping ensure they receive the support they need both inside and outside the classroom.

We are grateful to MAXimizing Mental Health, Inc. for their partnership and commitment to the well-being of our students. Supporting the whole child remains a priority at Attalla City Schools, and this investment will have a lasting impact on the lives of many of our students and families.

We look forward to sharing more information as this program is implemented. Thank you to everyone who helped make this opportunity possible!
