MassDOT Advisory: Wrong Way Vehicle Detection System Testing on I-95 Exits 6 and 7 Ramps, Thursday, August 20 from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will be performing testing on the Wrong Way Vehicle Detection System on I-95 northbound and southbound exits 6 and 7 (Robert Toner Boulevard) ramps in Attleboro and North Attleborough. The work is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following morning. The work is anticipated to be completed by Friday morning, August 21.

Temporary closures of I-95 northbound and southbound (Exits 6 & 7) will be in place. Temporary traffic alterations, including lane and shoulder closures, will occur as needed. Police will assist with traffic control and safety setups.

Appropriate signage and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers traveling through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
