Attleboro Firefighters PFFM Local 848

Local 848 is dedicated to the overall safety of the residents, employees, and visitors to the City of Attleboro.

Local 848 has approximately 80 members that consist of firefighters, firefighter/EMT's, and firefighter/paramedics. The department is divided into 4 platoons (A,B,C,D) and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The men and women of Local 848 honored our departed members this morning for Firefighter Sunday at our monument in Woodlawn cemetery. Each departed Chief, Assistant Chief, Captain, Lieutenant , Firefighter, Department Chaplain and Fire Commissioner names were read with a single bell ring honoring their dedication and sacrifice to Attleboro.

Thank you to our guests, retired members and especially to family members present.

May we never forget our past members.

Local 848 extends its profound condolences and sent a delegation to attend the funeral of Bobby 'BK' Kilduff Jr yesterday. We were privileged to provide honor guard services during the ceremony. Several photographs shared by attendees have highlighted the importance and enduring legacy of BK.

May BK rest in peace, and we offer our gratitude for his invaluable contributions to the firefighting community throughout the Commonwealth and IAFF. ⚫️🔴⚫️
