You deserve a Supervisor who is going to tell you the whole truth.

In an article in the Merced County Times yesterday, Sheriff Warnke denied approving the campaign flyer mailed out by the Back the Badge PAC supporting Daron. Warnke said, “I’m not endorsing him [McDaniel] and he did not have my permission to use that photo… He’s got my picture up there and I strongly believe it misrepresents my position.”

What Daron Tells You in the Article:

“Reached by telephone, Supervisor McDaniel said that the flyer and the photo were produced without his knowledge or permission.”

What Daron Doesn't Tell You:

The photo with Sheriff Warnke that the PAC used in the mailer came directly from Daron’s campaign website. See the photo in the comments.

If Daron wasn't trying to misrepresent the Sheriff's position, why was the photo on his campaign website?

Honored to attend the Annual American Legion Memorial Day Service at the Merced District Cemetery today. Memorial Day is always a powerful reminder of the brave men and women who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

I’ve always been proud to support our veterans, active military, and their families, and I look forward to continuing that support for the community we all love. Thank you to the American Legion, volunteers, and everyone who helped make today’s ceremony meaningful and memorable.

Had a wonderful time tonight attending the Merced City Fireman’s Ball in support of the Merced Firefighters Scholars Foundation. It was great seeing so many community members come together for an incredible cause.

Open Cockpit Day at Castle Air Museum has been an amazing community event! Great seeing so many families, veterans, first responders, and community members out enjoying the Castle Air Museum!

There are still a few more hours to come out and enjoy the historic aircraft. Even the puppies from Merced County Sheriff's Animal Services are onsite and available for adoption!
