It's time to put an end to the skyrocketing prices of gas, groceries, water, and healthcare. We need someone in Sacramento who will fight to lower costs for the Central Valley. As a county supervisor I fought tax increases, delivered tens of millions of dollars for affordable housing, and expanded rural healthcare.

As your next assemblymember I'll keep fighting for us. Not LA or San Francisco.

Yesterday I got to watch Over the Edge Merced in action. We saw brave community members rappelling straight down the historic Tioga Apartments to support United Way of Merced County and the local partner agencies they fund. It was incredible seeing the turnout, local vendors serving up food and drinks, live music, and neighbors of all ages cheering each other on.

I stopped by for a cup of strawberries and got to check out their assortment of sweet treats.

This past weekend, we teamed up with Councilmember Perea for a backpack drive at Teague Elementary School!

Thank you to our community sponsors who made this event possible. Students and families had access to free backpacks, on-site haircuts, and a range of community resources, all in one place to help kick off the new school year right.

Another weekend, another successful backpack drive in Los Banos.

I was happy to join in and help hand out over 1,000 backpacks to students, in partnership with Los Banos Unified School District, Binational of California, and Assemblymember Soria, all working to get our students ready for the new school year.

It was great seeing so many resources available and our community come together. Thank you to everyone who came out to take advantage of them, and to every student who left with a brand new backpack and a great head start on the school year ahead.

Had a great time at the launch of Mercado on the Go presented by the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce! I stopped by the inaugural event at in Atwater, where local vendors, crafters, and small businesses from across the county came together.

I had an opportunity to stop by Earthworks Clay Space , Merced's only public pottery studio, for a quick session.

Events like this help local and small businesses thrive by giving them direct access to the community. I'm Looking forward to seeing Mercado on the Go's next stop.

This endorsement reflects a shared commitment to working families across the Central Valley, and I take it seriously. In the Legislature, I'll work to represent workers on the issues that affect their daily lives, from wages to workplace safety to protecting their rights on the job.
