Beef Project members: there will again be a hoof trimmer doing calves at the Thomas County Fair Grounds. They will be there from 8 am to Noon on June 20. No appointment needed! The cost is $40/head again this year, payable to the trimmer.

Dry conditions across western Kansas are raising questions about grass turnout this spring. K State Research and Extension will host a free webinar Tuesday, April 29, from noon to 1 p.m. Central, to help cattle producers make turnout and stocking decisions. Registration is required.
