Be Oklahoma! ⛈️ Severe weather is possible today and tomorrow. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threat this evening, while Wednesday will also include a chance for tornadoes. Have to receive warnings and keep the volume turned up when you go to sleep.

Elevated to Near Critical fire weather conditions return Thursday and Friday across much of Oklahoma. We are continuing to hear from Oklahoma Forestry Services that many fires they have assisted with in the last few weeks are flare ups from previous debris burning or "controlled burns" that got out of control.

Help our firefighters and your neighbors by postponing outdoor burning and taking extra care to fully extinguish all past fires before Thursday.
