Mr. Blackmore’s PE class took on the 1 Mile Run today as part of our Presidential Physical Fitness testing!

Students challenged themselves to see how their mile time stacks up against the Presidential Fitness standards. More importantly, they got the chance to compete against themselves, push through when it got tough, and set a benchmark they can work to improve throughout the year.

It's NOT too late to order a yard sign or decal to support your favorite scholar athlete! The deadline to order is September 11th. Order forms for yard signs and decals to show your Wolverine Spirit and support for your student athlete(s) are available in the main office. This is an important fundraiser for the sophomore class and your help participating and spreading the word would be much appreciated. Please complete the form and turn it into the main office along with your payment. Cash or checks are accepted and please make checks payable to The Design Co. Recap of the week in High School Sports in Au Gres: On Tuesday the JV Volleyball team played @ Alcona against Oscoda and Alcona .Competed Hard and got better .
Varsity Volleyball Also played @ Alcona and walked away victorious vs both Alcona & Oscoda . Middle School Volleyball played @ WP on Wednesday and did a great job . 6/7 grade won all 3 sets and 8 grade won 1 out of 3 . Finally, our Football team played a great game vs WP JV Football Team and came up short 22-0 . Very proud of all the teams and got great reviews on sportsmanship from opponents & officials . # WolverinesLead.
