FOUND ITEM: GROVE ROAD PLAYGROUND

Good evening! A family visiting the Grove Road Playground yesterday found a handheld electronic game similar to the game pictured.

With several of our soccer families currently utilizing the fields, along with visitors from this past weekend’s games, we’re hoping to find its owner!

If you or your child are missing a handheld game, please reach out to us. We’d be happy to get it back where it belongs! 😊

Please share to help us find the owner!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Randy and Peggy Douglas for their generous donation in support of our Community Labor Day Celebration!

Randy and Peggy are returning sponsors who continue to support not only our Labor Day festivities, but many of our other Town events throughout the year. Their continued generosity and willingness to support our community truly means so much.

COMMUNITY-WIDE YARD SALES: WE NEED YOU!

We’re getting closer to Labor Day Weekend, and right now we only have 6 yard sales registered for our Community-Wide Yard Sales!

Our goal is to have at least 15 - 20 yard sales registered so we can put together a great Yard Sale Map for everyone to follow throughout the weekend.

Registration is completely FREE and is open to residents of BOTH the Town of Black Brook and the Town of Jay!

We also realize that yard sale registrations may be a little lower this year because of the amazing generosity and community support being shown to our local JCEO Community Cares shelves and The Community Chest. So many community members have been donating items and helping make sure they get into the hands of those who can use them, and we are incredibly grateful to see that kind of support within our communities.

That being said, if you are planning to have a yard sale Labor Day Weekend, we would love to include you!

If you’re having a sale anyway, please take a minute to register your address with us. The more locations we have, the better the map, and the more worthwhile it will be for shoppers to travel throughout Black Brook and Jay visiting all of the sales.

Our goal: 20 registered yard sales!

Community-Wide Yard Sales
Saturday, September 5 & Sunday, September 6
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

You can participate Saturday, Sunday, or BOTH days!
