Summer break just started and our CTE teachers are already back at work for our Chaparrals. This week, our team collaborated to build comprehensive employability skills units that will be integrated across all CTE programs beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Students are applying the principles of hand-drawn animation by creating flipbooks that bring motion to life. After learning foundational animation techniques last week, they are now turning concepts into creativity through hands-on practice.

Students in our Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance class collaborated to design and plan their own outlet mall, bringing real-world business concepts to life. From store selection to marketing strategy, they showcased creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking!

Aubrey ISD CTE Signing Day on April 9 was a meaningful celebration of our students and their next steps after graduation.

We’re proud of these students as they commit to their futures, whether that’s earning certifications, continuing their education, entering the workforce, or serving in the armed forces. The opportunities ahead are well deserved!

We are excited to share the outstanding accomplishments of our Aubrey FFA members at the Denton County Youth Fair! Our students represented Aubrey with excellence, earning numerous class placings, championships, and showmanship honors across multiple divisions.

Highlights from the Denton County Youth Fair include:
- Multiple Breed and Division Champions in swine, lambs, and breeding animals
- Overall Grand Champion Medium Wool Lamb exhibited by Carmela Castiglione
- Strong showings in Breeding Gilts, Market Swine, Breeding Goats, and Market Goats
- Several Top Placings in Market Lambs and Wether Dams
- Success in Breeding Heifers and Market Steers
- Recognition in Showmanship divisions, including Junior, Senior, and Novice champions
- Ag Mechanics project earning a Blue Ribbon

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and long hours our students have invested to achieve this level of success.
