We are a combination department made up of 42 men and women dedicated to serving our community. The AHFD covers 17.5 square miles with three fire stations. In addition to our 22,000 residents, we serve a day time population that soars to almost 100,000, more than 20,000 students at Oakland University, and millions of annual visitors to the Great Lakes Crossing Outlet mall. In 2019 we responded to

3,906 incidents. In addition to responding to all hazards, we provide transporting Advanced Life Support EMS. We look forward to sharing information and communicating with our community through our new social media page
