Auburn Parks & Recreation offers year-round recreational and educational programs for people of all ages—all with the goal of getting people active, engaged and invested in our community. Additionally, our beautiful parks—sprinkled throughout the city—provide a place for family and friends to gather. Any profit we make on programs is automatically reinvested in our parks for maintenance, repairs and new equipment and programming.

Summer is sneaking up fast, and our Summer Day Camp sessions are filling with happy campers, but there’s still time to save your spot!

From paint‑splattered fun in Messy Masterpieces, to big laughs during It’s All Fun and Games, to splashing through Soak It Up, each week is packed with the kind of joy kids talk about all summer long.

We are announcing a new program series- Renew & Bloom!

We believe our neighborhood has creativity waiting to shine — and sometimes it starts with something as simple as an old chair.

Our community is coming together to rescue worn‑out chairs and transform them into joyful garden décor that brightens your outdoor spaces. Every piece is touched by local hands, local stories, and local imagination.

Each chair represents a piece of our local family — lovingly donated and creatively redesigned by caring hands. When you sign up, you’re not just supporting the project; you’re helping our gardens, and our whole community, bloom. 🌼💚

There’s something special about slowing down and noticing the tiny wonders around us — and Auburn Gear Park delivered a whole lot of joy this week.

These whimsical mushrooms popped up like nature’s own surprise artwork, reminding us how beautiful our parks are when we take a moment to look a little closer.

Whether you’re out for a walk, a picnic, or just a breath of fresh air, Auburn Gear Park is full of little delights waiting to be discovered.
