Auburn Police Department donated two bikes to Bike 4 Life CNY today. We were able to obtain these bikes using funds from our GIVE initiative. It’s always great to be able to give back to the youth in our community. 🚲

Today the Auburn Police Department was able to be part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. This is always a great event for everyone involved. This year we were able to loop in some of the elementary schools and have the kids join in on the run itself!

Yesterday, the Auburn Police Department and the GIVE unit hosted an event at Falcon Park in collaboration with Auburn Enlarged City School District.

At the event we held foot chase races (radar verified), pitching events, police demos, face painting, kick ball games, and just some fun in the ☀️.

We hope all the students had as much fun as we did. We realize now that some of the officers will need to work on their kick ball skills, we saw some foul balls out there (remember laces out).

Also in attendance was Cayuga County District Attorney's Office , Cayuga County Sheriff's Office, and Cayuga County Probation.

Special thanks to Angelo’s, Nino’s, and Amelia’s pizzerias, Wal Mart, and also charming cheeks for the face painting.

Today, the Auburn Police Department proudly joined other departments, businesses, companies, and our community for our annual Memorial Day Parade.

The Auburn Police Department would also like to thank everyone who came out to support our community and to honor those men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms that we enjoy today. May we never forget! 🇺🇸

Today a chapter ended at the Auburn Police Department, Detective Charles Augello aka Chuck, retired. We had the honor and pleasure working with him throughout most of our careers. Chuck has dedicated his entire adult life to serving the people of our city whether here or overseas. Thank you for service as a police officer and also an army veteran.
