We are pleased to present the work of Anthony Jackson โ€œBugzdaleโ€ at the Community Center Gallery, on view May 8 โ€“ July 2, 2026!

โ€œThrough my art, I amplify ideas about the black experience in our society. I focus on the themes that affect my community: class, race, police brutality, corrupt government, death, and other issues, to show the way in which black men and women are made targets, and to find a way to celebrate the lives of these under-represented individuals. I create a world where these people can survive, and find a way to be themselves, while being free from imprisonment, both metaphorical and real. I am a black man fighting for equality and social justice. My Jamaican-American background, connections with people, my dual communities of Queens and Jamaica, and outside of it, old family photos, and my memories all inform the way I make art.โ€ โ€“ Anthony Jackson

We are pleased to present the work of Eileen Bochsler at the Cheryl Sallee Gallery, on view May 6th โ€“ July 1st, 2026!

โ€œMy artwork is a celebration of the natural world and a reflection of my connection to the Pacific Northwest. My work expresses my visual and visceral experiences; inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and rediscover the wonder of nature and reminding us of our place within its intricate tapestry. My creative process always begins outdoors taking dozens of photos to use as reference for patterns, light and color. I also collect and embed organic material into the wax or use it for creating prints. Layering all these components illustrates the complex layers or our relationship with nature.โ€ - Eileen Bochsler
