It is that time of year again; time to renew your membership with Olive Orchard Recreation Club. Because you are a current member, you have the first opportunity to secure your membership for the upcoming season. We were able to keep the price the same as last year @ $650 and will also cap the number of memberships at 35 again. Please respond to this email to let us know if you will be signing up for the upcoming season. We need to hear back from you by April 1st if you wish to renew. At that time we will look at the number of renewing members and offer any freed-up memberships to our neighbors on the ever growing waiting list.

You can drop off a check made to "OORC" to 140 Del Monte or scan the QR code below with your phone, or click to pay with VENMO (message for QR Code). We will have the gate rekeyed in mid April and you can pick up your new key anytime after that.

See ya at the pool!

Pool Members: we need your help! This year we don’t have budget to do our spring property maintenance and related clean-up and property tasks. Please contact Darrin and let him know if you can help with the following:

- Weedeating the property (multi-person)
- Trimming bushes, trees, especially olives and tall weeds
- Painting bathroom interiors
- Scrubbing furniture
- Removing weeds from the pool deck

Given schedules - there will not be a specific clean-up day, but please let us know when you can help and Darrin can provide specific direction as needed.

Thank you!!

Hey Members - We just sent a note to renew for 2023 before May 1st to hold your slot. We will then be opening membership to the wait list. Dues have gone up to $600 to help pay for our recent investment in pool resurfacing. The pool is beautiful now and keys will be changed soon to help us kick off the year!

Stay tuned for sign-ups for the 2023- volunteer driven clean up day!

Pool Community: Please stay tuned for some 2023 Season updates!

2023 NEW KEYS/MEMBERSHIPS: Thanks to those who paid early and helped us to fund the pool resurfacing. Darrin will be in touch to pick up your keys in the coming weeks. Next, we'll have a window for 2022 members to opt into renewal (before the end of April) before going to our wait-list for new members. We should have all members finalized by mid-May this year.

CLEANUP DAY: This volunteer-based pool is on a budget this year due to the resurfacing project, so will be soliciting Member help for the annual property and pool cleanup. We will be sending around a SignUp Genius for people to weed-eat, tree trim, paint, scrub and prep our property for the coming season. SAVE THE DATE for the last couple weeks in April

Hi Members - The Pool resurfacing project is underway. You should have received a note from our Pool President, Darrin, indicating that the project is over the original estimate, and there is a need to build our reserves. As such, there is an opportunity to help our community gem by paying your next annual dues now for a reduced price of $550 by 12/15/22. The 2023 season will be priced at $600 to help us build our reserves back up. If you didn't get Darrin's note with the Venmo information, please DM me and I will get you the information!

Thanks,
Pool Secretary and Volunteer, Susan Boyme :)

Hello Pool Members! The long-awaited pool resurfacing project will commence this month, thanks to several years of consistent dues collection from our awesome members. The pool will be drained just before Thanksgiving and have a lovely new coating on the bottom very soon! We were glad not to disrupt this season's swimming, and look forward to a great season in 2023!!

Stunning view at the pool tonight! Welcome, 2022 members!

It's going to be SMOKING hot in August folks - if you want to help keep the pool open:
- SHOWER before you get into the pool. The pool is not a shower, despite what your teenager says.
- Apply sunscreen at home so it sinks into your skin and not into the pool water. If you apply at the pool - wait a while before you get in so it soaks into your skin.
- Make sure the pool sweep is in the pool
- Help keep the pool water levels where needed

THANK YOU to all members for being such fabulous social distancers and disinfecting as needed. We are doing a GREAT job and have managed to keep the pool as a safe haven for our members!
