The City of Auburn has been informed that fiber/broadband lines will soon be installed in some areas of the city. While this is not a city-contracted project, it is our desire to inform the public so there is an awareness of construction areas. Please travel safely and cautiously in any construction areas. Beginning this week the DPW crew will be crack sealing on Midland and Auburn roads as well as other locations around the city. PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY in work areas - safety first for our workers, residents and visitors. A few seconds of patience could save a life or avoid injury. THANK YOU!

An extreme heat warning has been issued for Bay County from noon Tuesday 6/30, until 8pm Thursday 7/2. Below is a list of community resources where you can get a little time out of the weather to cool off. Remember to drink lots of water and be sure to check on your neighbors that may need help. Hydrant flushing begins today and continues into the week. Residents and businesses may experience low water pressure or slight discoloration with no safety issues. Thank you.

UPDATE: 4:04 pm. As water is being restored to the Mustang loop residence may experience some water, discoloration, and low water pressure. However, be assured that service will be restored to normal working order shortly.

NOTICE: there is a water main break at Appaloosa and Mustang. Residents may lose water for a couple hours. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we resolve the situation.

A Sweet Piece of Auburn Memorabilia!

We love our new play scape, but we have fond feelings about our old one built by our community and embellished with pavers made by young Auburnites! The pavers have been relocated to the disc golf park on 9 Mile Rd. about 2 miles north of town. If you would like to pick up your paver, please feel free to do so before May 30, 2026. They’re located near the gate at the northern end of the parking lot.
