On Saturday, eight members of the Placer County 4-H Livestock Judging Team attended the Chico State & Butte College Field Day. Competing in the 4-H Livestock Judging contest, they secured 1st place overall team. Really good placings and many great sets of reasons were given.

Thank you to the awesome 4-H youth members and families in Nevada County 4-H, Placer County 4-H & El Dorado County, California 4-H that showed up for the 2026 Nevada & Placer County 4-H Presentations and Job Interviews. A lot of wonderful topics by all!

Thank you to the Placer County 4-H Ambassadors for MC'ing the event, keeping things running smoothly, and those very punny jokes.

Don't forget, if you received a Gold or Blue award at this event, you are eligible to participate in the Regional event held in Jackson on April, 11th! Don't forget to register.
