Hi Auburn! Well, it's Wednesday evening again and that means it's time for our weekly, ASK YOUR LIBRARIAN! I'm Dan, your host and friendly neighborhood librarian. For the next hour and a half or so, I'll be right here, at the keyboard, live. Ask me about Griffin Free Public Library. If I know off the top of my head, I'll post it. If it needs looking up, I'll get back to you. If it needs A LOT of research, I'll PM or email you back. We did this last week to great success and interesting questions. There are four new bestsellers, one new movie, eight new children's books, and six other new books.

The new bestsellers this week include "Partita," "Karen's New Year," and "Bound / Unbound." The new movie this week is "Toy Story 5."

Join us in wishing a big thank you to the Friends of Griffin Free Public Library who do so very much for us, from support, to fundraising to providing all our Museum Passes for patrons. Our big Not-So-Spooky Walk is only three days away, this Friday, Oct. 16, 4:30-7pm! We're very excited about this huge event, and it will be a rain or shine evening! The countdown begins to one of the library's biggest events of the year, the Not-So-Spooky Walk on Friday, Oct. 16 from 4:30-7pm! The library and local author Naomi Fredette will present an evening of sensory play and trick or treats for kids of all ages! Costumes are encouraged. Vendors and a food truck will be on hand. Parking will be at several places nearby. We'll see you for all the fun!

We wanted to highlight two wonderful fundraisers our library friends group is running for us! One is today, the Shorty's Fair Share day where a percentage of anything you buy at Shorty's goes toward the library. The other is next week's big Evening of Mediumship fundraiser. Both are fun and helpful ways to contribute and have a special evening out as well! We'll see you all at Shorty's today!
