In the beginning of December, the Town of Auburn cancelled its contract with Code Red, the towns long time provider of our emergency notification system after a data breach with their system.

The town has signed a new contract with Rave Alert from Motorola. Unfortunately, the data file was corrupted so Rave will need to rebuild the data base by having our residents and businesses sign up for the new system that will be called "Alert Auburn".

Town officials are in the final phases of training and we expect to start advertising for registration in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, during this time our emergency communication with the town has been limited to social media.

We hope to be up and running with Alert Auburn very soon.

After 36 incredible years with the Auburn Police Department, it’s time to give Sgt. Brian Kennedy the sendoff he deserves! From his start in 1989… yes, 1989… to leading our SRO program, coaching youth sports, and surviving his fair share of “black cloud” calls — Sgt. Kennedy has done it all with dedication, humor, and a lot more grey hair than when he started.

Let’s pack the house and raise a glass to an Auburn legend! We’ve sold 131 out of 215 tickets, and we want every seat filled for this unforgettable event.
