Fingerlakes Fire Training is looking at adding a NEW Mask Confidence Course to our training lineup, and we want to know if your department would be interested!

We are close to having the ability to bring a portable Mask Confidence Course directly to your firehouse, allowing your members to work through realistic SCBA and mask-confidence evolutions without having to travel to a training center.

Instructor Burns spent Tuesday evening finishing up CPR/AED training for the coaching staff at Auburn Spartans Pop Warner.

This marks the third consecutive year that Fingerlakes Fire Training LLC has had the opportunity to provide CPR/AED training to their coaches. We would like to thank Auburn Spartans Pop Warner for their continued trust in our instructors and our training programs.

Having coaches trained and prepared to respond during a medical emergency is an important part of keeping young athletes safe both on and off the field.

We appreciate the continued partnership and look forward to working with the Spartans for years to come!

Over the last two Fridays, Fingerlakes Fire Training Instructor McNabb spent the day at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, providing CPR/AED and First Aid training to members of their Special Education staff.

We want to recognize Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES for taking the initiative to provide their staff with this important, potentially life-saving training. Having employees who are prepared to recognize an emergency, begin CPR, use an AED, and provide basic first aid can make a critical difference when every second counts.

Earlier this month, our team traveled to Clayton, NY, to deliver an 8-hour RIC (Rapid Intervention Crew) program.

Instructors McNabb, DiFabio, Jessie, and Farrell worked alongside members of the Town of Clayton Fire Department and Alexandria Bay Fire Department throughout the day, covering multiple RIC skills and scenarios.

It was a pleasure to provide this training to both departments and work alongside such dedicated firefighters. We appreciate the opportunity and look forward to working together again in the future!
