Join us for camaraderie and adventure! Pack 29 meets typically once a month on a Friday in the Epworth Center of Auburn United Methodist Church.

Cub Scout Pack 29 in Auburn, Alabama, proudly charted by the VFW Post 5404, welcomes children in grades K-5 from across the Auburn/Opelika/Lee County School Districts. Memorial Day Observation from our Post:

A free wreath-laying ceremony will be at 10 a.m. at the Auburn Veterans Memorial Monument at Ross Street and Glenn Avenue, featuring a rifle detail by VFW Post 5404. Parking is available at the Douglas J. Watson Municipal Complex, Felton Little Park and the East Glenn Avenue Municipal Parking Lot. Road closures will be in place around the ceremony area.

We will also be placing flags on Veterans grave markers in Cemeteries around Auburn. Details and locations on these cemeteries will be announced shortly. We will have volunteers from multiple different groups including VFW Auxiliary Post 5404, Cub Scout Pack 29, and others who graciously offered to help. Thank you to all who will be participating in remembering our fallen brothers and sisters.

We want to encourage everyone to be safe and have a wonderful weekend coming up as we prepare for this weekend of remembrance. Thank you to all of the veterans out there who have served and are still serving!

Another great example of Scouts helping our community!

This past weekend, our Pack 29 Scouts collected food for Scouting for Food, and together we gathered over 560 pounds of donations for the Auburn Sustenance Project.

Today, our scouts also had the opportunity to help pack food bags for families who will be picking them up.

Thank you to everyone in the community who donated and helped make this possible. Your generosity will make a real difference for local families. 💙💛

Tomorrow (2/25/26) is our Scouting for Food drop‑off day!

We are proud to be partnering with the Auburn Sustenance Project this year. All food collected will go directly toward packing Spring Break food boxes for local families who could use a little extra support.

🚨 Scouting for Food starts this week! 🚨

Cub Scouts from Pack 29 Auburn will be out in neighborhoods across town collecting non‑perishable food to support families in our community through our partnership with the Auburn Sustenance Project.

📍 Drop‑Off Option Available:
Donations may also be dropped off at our chartered organization, the VFW Post 5404, located at 131 E. Veterans Blvd Auburn, on Wednesday 2/25 from 8:00–11:00 AM during their Coffee & Conversation.

🇺🇸 What a great morning for our Webelos Den at the VFW Post 5404!

As part of finishing their Citizenship Adventure, our Scouts had the incredible opportunity to meet with Mayor Anders to learn firsthand about the election process and how local government serves our community. They asked thoughtful questions and gained a real-world look at civic leadership in action.

To wrap up their adventure, each Scout presented a poster on a federal law and explained how the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches work together. It was impressive to see them confidently share what they’ve learned!

We’re so proud of these young leaders for taking the time to understand how our government works and what it means to be active, informed citizens. 🇺🇸👏

Pack 29 had a fantastic time at the Mardi Gras parade today! 🎭💜💛💚

So many smiles, beads, and great memories made together. We love seeing our Scouts out in the community and celebrating with friends and families.

💡✨ What a morning at the Pack 29 Glow Derby! ✨💡

Today’s race was an absolute blast, and we’re still glowing from how successful it was! We had an incredible turnout of Scouts and families, plus wonderful support from members of our charter organization, VFW Post 5404.

A huge thank you to the VFW for welcoming us into their post and allowing us to host the derby there — it was hands-down one of the best setups we’ve ever had. The lighting effects took the Glow Derby to a whole new level and made the races unforgettable!

And of course, we can’t forget the food 🍽️ — Hoagie Express rolled out with a special lunch menu that was a big hit with Scouts and families alike.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a fun, memorable experience. This is what Pack 29 is all about — community, family, and making awesome memories together! 🏁💙💛

Our Webelos Den visited the Tiger Motors Lab at Auburn University (aka The Lego Lab) to complete their Modular Design Adventure — and every Scout completed their station just under one minute!

Teamwork. Focus. Fun. ✔️✔️✔️

A big thank you to Dr. Devall and Diego for taking the time to explain Industrial Engineering & showing our Scouts how Tiger Motors helps learners experience the difference between mass production and lean manufacturing principles.
