Today we want to honor those who gave everything in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice are the foundation of the freedoms we hold dear. We are forever grateful.

After 20 years of unwavering dedication, leadership, and service, we proudly honor the retirement of Assistant Chief Jason Putt.

For two decades, he stood on the front lines—not only answering the call to fight fires, but also building a department founded on strength, trust, and professionalism. A mentor to many and a steady presence to all, Jason exemplified the kind of leadership others could always depend on.

Though the pager may fall silent and the calls may cease, the impact of his service will continue to resonate throughout this department and the community he served. As he begins this next chapter, may it be filled with new adventures and meaningful time with those who matter most. You have given so much of yourself in service to others—now it’s your time.

Thank you for your dedication and your leadership.

Congratulations on your retirement, Jason Putt.
