If you participated in the 2026 Summer Reading program you might have noticed that we had some spectacular drawing baskets and prizes this year! Back in June your elementary aged child probably came home with a green bag filled with goodies and information about the Summer Reading Program. These promotional bags and prizes were made possible by the generous funding and support of Savers Bank in collaboration with the Friends of the Auburn Public Library - Auburn, Massachusetts. Their support allowed us to have a banner year for Summer Reading with 1106 participants (compared to 728 in 2025, and 361 in 2024)!

Earlier in August we had an Animal Adventures program at the library in which patrons got to learn about a variety of animals such as a wallaby, Eurasian eagle owl, armadillo, snake, chinchilla and more!

We'd like to thank the Auburn Cultural Council for generously funding this program. The Auburn Cultural Council is a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
