Audubon Fire Department The Audubon Fire Department is an all volunteer Department consisting of over 75 members operating from a single station located at 221 West Merchant St.

in our downtown business district. Each year we respond to many requests for fire, rescue, and EMS assistance while maintaining a very active role in our community. Averaging over 300 calls each year, AFD is a busy Department considering we serve a 1.5 square borough. Our response district includes the Borough of Audubon and certain responses into the towns of Audubon Park, Oaklyn, Haddon Heights,

Mt. Ephraim and West Collingswood Heights. Our ladder truck is called to cover some of our surrounding communities when needed. Audubon is located in Camden County across the river from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. State Highways Route 30 and Route 168 run through the borough. We are primarily a bedroom community with 4 business districts and a medium sized shopping mall. Our goal is to provide services to the residents, business and visitors to our town while maintaining a high level of professionalism and readiness. Training has been and continues to be a priority for our Department.

A portion of all orders will be donated to the Junior Firefighter Program as well as Tunnel to Towers Foundation on this date between 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Dan started his career path with the Audubon Fire Department as a junior firefighter. From there he rose through the ranks eventually became an Assistant Chief. All while volunteering in Audubon, Dan was hired with the Camden City Fire Department in 2001 and again rose through the ranks to Battalion Chief. Dan has dedicated a lifetime of service to both the Residents of Camden City and Audubon. Congratulations Chief Dan Seybert on your retirement. Thank you for your service !

One of the best in the business. Chief Price was a wealth knowledge and always took the time to talk to the membership, especially the younger members and give great advice on what it is to be a great leader in the fire service. Today we remember Chief Paul Price Sr

The Camden County Hero Scholarship Fund remembers Deputy Chief Paul F. Price, Sr. from the Audubon Fire Department who made the ultimate sacrifice on August 11, 2016.

After responding to a call from the Audubon Fire Department, Paul F. Price Sr. suffered a fatal heart attack at his home the following morning, August 11, 2016.
Deputy Chief Price grew up in Audubon, New Jersey, and became a member of the Defender Fire Company while a senior in high school. On December 10, 1976, at the age of 24, Paul F. Price was appointed the Camden Fie Department.

Paul Price was dedicated fire fighter, whose life's work was spent in responding to emergencies to help others. He rose through the ranks of the Camden Fire Department, being promoted to Captain on February 10, 1989. On July 20, 1994 he was again promoted, this time to the rank of Battalion Chief. His final promotion came on October 10, 2006 when he was appointed Deputy Chief. During his time as Deputy Chief he secured a number grants for new apparatus and equipment for the Camden Fire Department.

Chief Price retired on April 1, 2009 having served the City of Camden for over 32 years. During this time he also served with the volunteer Audubon Fire Department, serving as Deputy chief from 1996-2002. After retirement he stayed involved with the Audubon Fire Department, many other emergency response organizations, and many civic organizations.

At approximately 08:57hrs, Taskforce 4 was dispatched to the 100 block of 2nd street for a motor vehicle accident. BLS 4 was on location with one occupant still in the vehicle. Squad4 and Quint 1 arrived simultaneously and began to shore up the vehicle. Between the 2 companies, the occupant was extricated via a roof removal a short time after.
