Ready for a great beginning program for Summer Reading??? Mesozoic Adventures with Toby & Funny Farm will be Thursday, June 4, at 10:30am in the City Park by the Library. This wonderful program is being sponsored by the generous donation of anonymous donor & friend of the Audubon Library.

Plant a Seed Read is the Summer Reading theme at the library & this week begins sign up for young readers to participate. In honor of the theme, Amanda Buck with ISU Extension , has provided each sign up child with a pack of seeds to plant. Fun!! Lee was the first one to sign up for Summer Reading !! Come & check out all the new books for kids & adults!!!!

With sadness, the Library staff and Library Trustees wish to honor the memory of James M. Tinker, who served as Trustee and several times as President over 40 years. He was a dedicated Board member who rarely missed a meeting and was always available to assist the Library in every way. The Library will be closed Friday morning, May 22, for his funeral service. He will be missed.

Our Thursday Story Time kids with their ice cream bar craft - all ready for summer. After craft time, they all enjoyed a sweet treat of popsicles. What a fun group!! And thanks to Jen Richardson for all the fun craft ideas & prepping for craft time. The kids love craft time!

Busy crafters of ice cream treats on the last Story Time for Spring. We will have Summer Reading Story Time each Monday in June at 10:30 am in the Park and then take a break until September when we start up in fall. Then there were special treats for the children.

All you need is your current library number, as used on your Libby account. It’s an excellent resource for any travel - stateside or worldwide. Contact the Library if you need assistance.

Ladybug show off but not everyone got together for a group photo but we settled for whatever photos we could take! Ladybug stories & a ladybug craft - another fun Story Time!

Ladybugs were the Story Time topic with stories and a cute ladybug craft! Also a story about Mom’s in honor of Mothers & Mother’s Day with a take home coloring page. Treats were donated by Terrie Yager. One more Story Time next week, while we gear up for Summer Reading. June will have a Story Time each Monday morning at 10:30 am in the City Park.
