One of the things we love most about Bridge Builder Communities is building bridges between ideas and action. We are incredibly grateful to partner with the talented students of Augusta University’s Risk & Communication (COMM 4950) course under the leadership of Professor Danielle Harris, M.Ed.

This outstanding group of students invested their time, talent, and expertise to develop a comprehensive Crisis Communication Plan for Bridge Builder Communities. Their work will help strengthen our organization, improve our preparedness, and ensure we continue serving young adults aging out of foster care with excellence.

Thank you, Professor Harris and the COMM 4950 students, for believing in our mission and demonstrating the power of academic partnerships to create real-world impact. The future is bright when education and community come together!

A heartfelt thank you to the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education and author KIANOOSH HASHEMZADEH for highlighting the work of Bridge Builder Communities in Augusta, Georgia through your recent alumni feature. We are honored to have our story shared as part of USC’s commitment to showcasing leaders who are creating meaningful change in their communities.

This recognition shines a light on the incredible young adults we serve as we build Augusta’s first tiny home community for youth aging out of foster care. Thank you, Kianoosh, for telling our story, and thank you, USC Rossier, for continuing to inspire alumni to lead with purpose, service, and impact. Together, we are building more than homes—we are building hope, opportunity, and brighter futures. Fight On! ✌️

Drawing on his doctoral studies at USC Rossier and nearly three decades in the U.S. Army, Jackson Drumgoole is developing Bridge Builder Communities, a housing and wraparound support initiative for Georgia youth aging out of the foster care system.

Honoring Sacrifice, Building Hope🏡

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the strength found in compassion, unity, and service to others.

At Bridge Builder Communities, we carry that spirit forward by supporting youth aging out of foster care with safe housing, life skills, and a community that believes in their future. Because every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive and the support to build a brighter tomorrow.
