Winter weather is expected this weekend, and we want you to have the information you need before conditions change.
If you see a road hazard during or after the storm, reporting it to Augusta 311 helps keep you safe, helps your neighbors, and helps response crews address issues as quickly as possible.
You can report road hazards to Augusta 311 using any of these options:
• The MyAugusta 311 mobile app
• The Augusta 311 web portal
• Dial 311 from any local phone in Richmond County
• Call (706) 821-2300 if you are outside Richmond County
You can report the following non-emergency road hazards:
• Icy or slick roadways, including black ice
• Snow or ice buildup on streets or bridges
• Traffic signal malfunctions or streetlights not working
• Downed trees, large limbs, or vegetation blocking roadways
• Downed power lines (do not approach; report when safe)
• Flooding on roads from melting ice or rain
• Blocked storm drains, causing water to back up
• Sinkholes or road collapses
• Potholes caused by freezing and thawing
• Washed-out road shoulders or medians
• Damaged guardrails, signs, or traffic barriers
• Debris in the roadway (branches, ice, trash, construction materials)
• Trash or debris-related service issues caused by the storm
• Sewage backups
• Water outages
• Power outages
• Requests for public safety assistance (non-emergency)
Important reminders:
Use 311 for non-emergency hazards.
Call 911 if the situation is life-threatening or involves injuries.
Include the exact location and a brief description when reporting.
