We reviewed difficult intubation, use of video laryngoscopes, surgical cricothyrotomy in adults, needle cricothyrotomy in pediatrics and more. Kudos to Ally Gosselin, Mid Maine Technical Center's EMT of the Year! She is flanked by Chiefs Flannery and Frost of the Waterville Fire Department, where she is an EMT intern this year, as her award details are read by paramedic Abigail McMahon, her EMT instructor (and MD3 Board of Directors member). Ally was honored with the 9/11 Scholarship and was the silver medal awardee at the Maine State EMT Skills Competition. She plans to start the SMCC paramedic program while participating in the live-in program at Raymond Fire. We could not be more proud!
