🧡🖤 The first couple weeks of school have been wonderful! 🖤🧡

There is just something special about having our staff and students back in our buildings. The hallways are filled with laughter, classrooms are buzzing with learning, and our schools have truly come to life again!

From kindergarten friends learning to count, to students matching shapes and colors, to 2nd graders asking thoughtful questions about a book they just read, these little moments are what make the beginning of a new school year so exciting. 📚✏️

And it’s not all about academics! We’ve also caught our principals spreading a little extra joy by handing out birthday “treats” to celebrate our students on their special days! 🎉

We love seeing our students learning, exploring, asking questions, celebrating and growing each day. Here’s a little glimpse at some of the wonderful moments happening during these first few weeks!

🧡🖤 A Superintendent on a Mission! 🖤🧡

Ms. Craft is on a mission to get to know the students who make Augusta USD 402 so special, and last week she hit the road for some classroom visits!

She spent time at Augusta Schools USD 402 - Augusta Middle School and Augusta Schools USD 402 - Lincoln Elementary, popping into classrooms, meeting students, seeing learning in action, and getting a firsthand look at the amazing things happening in our schools.

At Lincoln, she even got to learn more about the great things Mrs. Strohm’s 3rd graders are doing in their classroom! From seeing students engaged in their learning to hearing about what makes their classroom special, it was a great opportunity to connect with some of our youngest Orioles. 🧡🖤

We love seeing our superintendent out in our schools, building relationships and getting to know the students, teachers, and classrooms that make USD 402 such a great place to learn!

And who knows...Ms. Craft may be popping into YOUR classroom next! 👀🧡🖤

🧡🖤 Senior Parking Spots Looking AMAZING! 🖤🧡

On Sunday, our Augusta Schools USD 402 - Augusta High School seniors brought their creativity, personality, and school spirit to life as they painted their senior parking spots! 🎨🚗

The finished spots look phenomenal, and we love seeing all the unique designs that showcase the personalities of the Class of 2027! We are also excited that their creativity caught the attention of KSN, giving our seniors some great recognition on the news! 📺👏
