Butler County Department on Aging Butler County Department on Aging We are a county agency with the Butler County Commissioners as the governing body.

Funding is made possible through the county mill levy, state and federal funding, donations, and the United Way. Unlike the majority of county departments, the BCDOA offices are housed in Augusta, Kansas.

Our SPRING FLING Senior Resource Fair is this Thursday, April 30! Fair is at the Civic Center (201 E. Central) and the Community Building (206 N. Griffith). There will be several health activities being conducted at the Community Building. Here is a list of what will be going on at the Community Building:
Blood Pressure Checks
Balance checks
Hearing Screening
Lymphedema assessment
Colon cancer screenings (blood draws, bring Medicare/insurance cards).
Document Shredding
Notary Public
Everything is free, including admittance to the fair.
