Faith & Freedom 2026 | Eric Metaxes | True History is Christian History:

“If it’s true, it’s Christian history… We don’t do our own version of history. If it’s true, God is into the truth… Our history, when you tell it straight, is just wall-to-wall Christian faith. It’s not escapable. It is inescapable.”

Anchored Ep. 79 - Aaron Davis, Calvary Chapel in Lewiston

“If we ever want to truly understand the heart of today’s political and cultural chaos, then you need to look no further than the family. From the beginning, God designed the family as the very foundation of our society. One man, one woman, raising their children in truth and love. It’s not just a tradition. It’s God’s design. And when the family structure breaks down, everything else around it begins to crumble.”

Faith & Freedom 2026 | Panel with Eric Metaxas

A powerful panel conversation on what made the American Revolution different—and what the Church must recover today.

The Revolution succeeded because it was rooted in covenant with God. They replaced an earthly king with God as King. Every other revolution that pushed God out failed or became a bitter mockery of its own ideals.

Key truths from the night:

• “Duty is ours, results God’s.”

• Faith does not cancel the need to armor up and walk into the valley.

• The biggest lie sold to the American Church is that we should stay out of politics.

• Love for God and neighbor demands we engage—not make an idol of politics, but refuse to abandon the public square.

• A biblically literate people built this nation. Only a biblically literate people will preserve it.

The panel called pastors and believers to reject apathy, recover the whole counsel of God, and step into the battle in faith.

God is already stirring something in Maine.

This is only the beginning.

Faith & Freedom 2026 | On Our Knees | Nick Adolphsen

“I show up at the State House every single day… and the battles being fought there are not political battles at all—they are spiritual ones.”

There is only one way to fight a spiritual battle: on our knees.

That’s why Pray For Maine exists. No political strategy is enough. Real change starts in our homes, in our churches, and on our knees.

Looking to Jehoshaphat, the speaker reminds us: they put the worshippers in front… and then they still put on their armor and marched into the valley in faith.

Prayer and worship come first.

But faith does not mean we stay on the sidelines.

We armor up.

We walk into the battle.

And we trust God to win it.

This is Pray For Maine | Faith and Freedom 2026.

Faith & Freedom 2026 | Flicking the Light On

A native son of Maine, Pastor Jason Bailey, looks across the auditorium and declares: “You’re looking more like heaven today than you ever have.”

Every denomination. Every tribe. Every tongue. One people gathered to pray.

Using the powerful image of a lighthouse, he reminds us: While ships are crashing on the rocks, the people of God must keep the light burning. Not just beautify the lighthouse—shine the light.

“We’re flicking the light on in this region.”

As the sun rises first in Maine, so the Son shall be raised in Maine.

With a gripping story of a bomber plane hit by four missiles that never exploded after the crew prayed and committed to their duty, he calls us to ours: Humble ourselves, seek God’s face, and watch Him heal our land.

Bangor shall be healed. Maine shall be healed.

Righteousness exalts a nation.

There is a light greater than every darkness. Amen.

"Faith & Freedom 2026 | A Call to Holiness

Pastor Adam from CrossPoint Church in Bangor brings a clear word: Maine needs a turnaround—political, moral, and above all, spiritual.

The one thing we need most? God’s holiness reclaimed in our cities and our state.

From Psalm 99 he declares: “The Lord reigns… Holy is He.”

Like Moses, Aaron, and Samuel who called on the Lord and were answered, we intercede tonight. Change won’t start with politicians or programs. It must begin with the people of God seeking His holiness, confessing our sin, and surrendering our own agendas.

The God who conquered death has the power to change Maine.

May we be salt and light—so that others see and glorify Him.

“God, change our state. We need You more than ever.” Amen.

Faith & Freedom 2026 | A Prayer for Maine with Pastor Scott Taylor

“Do you love the state of Maine?”

With that question, this powerful prayer invites the room to unite and seek the Lord.

Confessing our desperate need for revival, the prayer turns our eyes to Jesus—the only hope for our towns, our state, and our nation. Echoing Jehoshaphat’s cry, “We don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on You,” it calls for transformed hearts, not better circumstances.

It lifts up Maine’s homes, parents, children, schools, first responders, military, churches, and pastors—asking God to awaken cold hearts, raise up a generation that fears the Lord, restore our first love, and unite His people around Jesus Christ alone.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord.

May revival begin with us. Amen.

08/07/2026

Kirk and Lisa Winters of The Rock Church open Faith and Freedom 2026 with a powerful call to prayer for Maine.

Drawing from 2 Chronicles 20 and King Jehoshaphat’s famous words—“We don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on You”—they remind us that this night isn’t about one church or one ministry. It’s about God’s people from many churches gathering in unity to seek the Lord on behalf of our state.

They pray for revival in Maine’s churches, strength for pastors, wisdom for parents, protection for our children, and godly leadership in our communities, state, and nation.

“Prayer is not our last response. It’s our first response.”

May Jesus be lifted high. Amen.
