We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievement of Warrant Officer Candidates Edward Price and Seamus Russet, who have officially appointed as Warrant Officers.

WO1 Price is on his way to becoming a 919A Engineer Equipment Maintenance Warrant Officer. WO1 Russet, Maine’s first street-to-seat candidate, has completed both basic training and WOCS and will serve as a 153A Rotary Wing Aviator.

Both have shown incredible dedication, resilience, and leadership throughout their journey. Their commitment to excellence is truly inspiring!

Let's give it up for WOC Price and WOC Russet, who are tackling the intense challenges of Warrant Officer Candidate School!

They've just navigated the rigors of integration day, a true test of grit and determination. WOC Price is on track to become a 919A Engineer Equipment Maintenance Warrant Officer, ready to keep the Army's most critical equipment in the fight. Meanwhile, WOC Russet is blazing a new trail as Maine's very first "street to seat" aviation candidate, heading straight for the cockpit!

This is just the beginning of their journey to becoming the Army's top technical and tactical experts. We're incredibly proud of the hard work they're putting in. Keep pushing, candidates!

The MEARNG formally announces the appointment of SSG Edward Price to the rank of Warrant Officer Candidate. This appointment recognizes his significant leadership capabilities and technical expertise demonstrated throughout his military career.

Candidate Price began his service in 2014 and has distinguished himself thoughout his career. His proven track record and extensive experience have made him an exemplary selection for the 919A Engineer Equipment Maintenance Technician role. In this capacity, he will serve as a subject matter expert, responsible for the supervision of maintenance programs and the technical training of personnel on essential engineer equipment.

To formalize his new rank, Candidate Price will be attending Warrant Officer Candidate School in the near future.

The MEARNG extends its congratulations to Candidate Price on this significant career milestone and wishes him success in his future duties and training.

As Warrant Officer Candidate School comes to a close for class 26-008, WOC Dacus and WOC Pratt recently took part in their senior mentorship outing, reflecting on the journey that has brought them to this point. Time spent with mentors and fellow candidates offers a chance to discuss lessons learned, leadership expectations, and the responsibilities of serving as a Warrant Officer.

After months of demanding training and professional development, both candidates are approaching a major milestone. Next Wednesday, WOC Dacus and WOC Pratt will graduate from Warrant Officer Candidate School and be officially appointed as Warrant Officers.

We look forward to celebrating their accomplishment next week as they join the Warrant Officer Cohort and continue serving the Maine Army National Guard.

The Maine Army National Guard is proud to announce its newest Warrant Officer Candidate, Ty Kostenbauder! WOC Kostenbauder is on an exciting journey to become a 153A UH-60 Blackhawk pilot, bringing with him a wealth of aviation operations knowledge and experience.

Later this year, he will take the next step in his career by attending Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS), where he will continue to develop his leadership skills and technical expertise.

We are thrilled to see his dedication and passion for service take off as he embarks on this incredible path!

Congratulations to SFC Joseph Frazier on being selected as a Warrant Officer Candidate (WOC)! This incredible milestone connects him to over a century of military tradition and excellence within the Warrant Officer Corps, established in 1918.

WOC Frazier has demonstrated outstanding leadership both in the military and civilian sectors. As Platoon Sergeant in the 185th Engineer Support Company, he has mentored Soldiers across all ranks and contributed to numerous impactful projects. In his civilian career at Sargent Corporation, he has excelled in various leadership roles, managing high-profile award-winning construction projects. We are grateful that Sargent Corporation has been a tremendous supporter of his military service, enabling him to thrive in both arenas.

Later this year, WOC Frazier will attend Warrant Officer Candidate School, embarking on a journey to become a 120A Construction Engineering Technician. We’re proud to celebrate his achievements and excited to see him uphold the proud legacy of the Warrant Officer Corps!

Today, WOC Trask of the White Owls completed the Victory Run, the final challenge of Warrant Officer Candidate School, a journey that demanded resilience, determination, and an unyielding commitment to success.

At the finish line, WOC Trask rang the Warrant Officer Bell, a time-honored tradition that marks the final step in the transition from candidate to Warrant Officer. This symbolic act represents the culmination of his hard work and dedication, connecting him to the proud legacy of Warrant Officers who have come before.

In recognition of his exceptional performance throughout the course, WOC Trask was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for his outstanding efforts as the class Staff Administrative Officer. His leadership, organizational skills, and dedication to supporting his peers played a vital role in the success of Class 25-24, exemplifying the qualities of a true leader.

Tomorrow at 1100 EST, WOC Trask will officially be appointed as a Warrant Officer, stepping into a role of leadership, expertise, and service to carry forward the traditions of the Warrant Officer Cohort.
