April is the Month of the Military Child đź’ś

Behind every Soldier stands a family, and at the heart of that family are military children who serve in ways often unseen.
They learn resilience early.
They adapt constantly.
They carry strength well beyond their years.

Military children navigate new schools, new communities, and long separations, yet continue to thrive, support, and inspire. Their ability to endure and overcome directly strengthens the force behind the force.

At Fort Gordon and the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence, these young heroes are part of our readiness. Their resilience fuels our Soldiers, their sacrifices strengthen our formations, and their presence reminds us that mission success starts at home.
Because readiness doesn’t begin on the battlefield, t begins with the families who stand behind it.

This month, we proudly recognize and thank our military children for the vital role they play in keeping our Army strong.

Why Army Cyber?
Why Fort Gordon?

Because this is where the future fight is built.

At the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence, Soldiers don’t just learn - they become experts in cyberspace operations, signal networks, and electromagnetic warfare. This is the Army’s home for cyber and signal training, where innovation meets ex*****on.

From defending critical networks to dominating the electromagnetic spectrum, our Soldiers are trained to operate where battles are fought long before boots hit the ground.

Fort Gordon isn’t just a duty station-
it’s the center of gravity for cyber readiness.

If you’re looking to be part of something bigger, smarter, and on the cutting edge of warfare — this is where you start.

⚡ Train here.
⚡ Fight anywhere.
⚡ Win everywhere.

Last week, Secretary of the Army visited Fort Gordon, where U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence is delivering speed, precision, and dominance in the cyber domain. He then traveled to U.S. Army Garrison Fort Benning, where he met with the next generation of leaders at OCS and the warriors of the The 75th Ranger Regiment.

The U.S. Army is transforming for the fight of tomorrow, and putting lethality into practice today.

From classrooms to cyberspace - building tomorrow’s warfighters starts today.

Soldiers from the U.S. Army Cyber School and Cyber Protection Brigade engaged with more than 890 students across South Aiken, Thomson, and Harlem High Schools during a multi-day STEM outreach March 23–25, 2026.

Through hands-on demonstrations, interactive cyber scenarios, and real-world technology like the VROD (Versatile Radio Observation and Direction) system, students got a firsthand look at how the Army dominates in cyberspace and the electromagnetic spectrum.

From exploring how networks are accessed to learning about high-tech career paths like 17C (Cyber Operations Specialist) and 17E (Electromagnetic Warfare Specialist)- this wasn’t just a visit, it was an introduction to the future fight.

With support from the Augusta Recruiting Company and local recruiting stations, this effort strengthened the connection between the Army and our community, showing students exactly where innovation, service, and opportunity intersect.

⚡ Cyber starts here.
⚡ Talent starts early.
⚡ The future fight is already taking shape.

👏 Special thank you to the Soldiers who made this engagement possible:
SFC Perez; 1LT Li; WO1 Dogbe; SSG Warwood; SSG Brown; SGT Mitchell; SGT Carpenter; SGT Lep Xicara; SPC Riley; SPC Green; SPC Maldonado; PFC Fauntleroy-Conner.

Signal Captains Career Course Graduation | Leading with Purpose in a Complex World

Today, the Cyber Center of Excellence recognized the graduation of our Signal Captains Career Course—leaders prepared to enable the Army to fight and win in an increasingly complex global environment.

As the first speaker, Maj. Gen. Ryan Janovic, Commanding General of the Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, delivered a message centered on what it means to lead in today’s operational landscape.

He emphasized the importance of effective leadership in a rapidly evolving global climate—challenging these captains to:
• Lead with purpose
• Lead by example
• Remain lifelong learners in a profession that demands constant adaptation

These principles are not abstract—they are essential to building formations that are resilient, disciplined, and ready to operate in contested environments.

As Signal officers, these graduates will be entrusted with enabling mission command, ensuring the flow of information, and connecting the force across every domain.

📡 Leadership matters. Purpose matters. And in today’s fight—adaptability is decisive.

Congratulations to our newest Signal leaders. The Army’s ability to communicate, synchronize, and dominate depends on you.

It all comes down to this.

Today marks the final push in the 2026 CCoE Best Warrior Competition and our competitors are leaving it all on the field.

Today’s events:
🎒 12-Mile Ruck March
🪖 Formal Board Evaluation

After days of physical exhaustion, technical testing, and tactical challenges, competitors must dig deep, demonstrating not only endurance, but professionalism, knowledge, and presence under pressure.

This is the culmination of everything they’ve fought through.
This is where the best rise.

Tomorrow, we recognize the warriors who stood above the rest.
