No better way for Judge Johnson to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month than by attending the ribbon cutting for Serenity Behavioral Health’s new crisis facility today. Supporting access to compassionate mental health services strengthens our entire community, and it was an honor to celebrate this important investment in wellness, hope, and healing.

If you missed the Means Report you can watch it here! Please note that while on a normal basis we strive to get cases processed within 30-45 days, the Probate Court is working on a backlog. We are integrating hearings on cases from the mid to early 2000s that either wasn’t heard or haven’t been resolved!

Please feel free to contact the court with questions about the court process or your matter with the court.

Warmest wishes on your birthday, Judge Johnson!

Thank you to our local schools for inviting the Richmond County Probate Court to participate in Read Across America Week! 📚

It was truly a joy for Judge Johnson and our court team to spend time with such bright and curious students. Reading together is a powerful way to inspire imagination, encourage learning, and remind young people that their voices and dreams matter.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with the next generation and support literacy in our community. Thank you to the Principals, teachers, staff, and students for welcoming us so warmly!

Our Judicial Assistant Sam Stevenson and Clerk Yolanda Williams were able to provide services and awareness to the comminity at Augusta Richmond County District 2 Commissioner’s 4th Annual Community Breakfast.

Thank you District 2 Commissioner Stacy Pulliam for allowing the Court to be part of your community breakfast. It’s an honor to step outside the courtroom and connect with the community we proudly serve.

Events like this strengthen the bond between the Court and the citizens we are committed to serving. When the court and community come together, we build trust, understanding, and a stronger future for everyone.

Gatherings like this remind us that the work we do is not just about cases — it’s about people, families, and strengthening our community.

Thank you Cross Creek High School for allowing Judge Johnson and the Probate Court to take part in your Career Day Event “Passport to Your Future – College & Career Fair 2026”!

By opening your doors to us, you’ve opened young minds to the possibilities of public service, leadership, and justice in action. Investing in students today strengthens the future of our community and the integrity of our justice system tomorrow.

When schools and courts connect, students see that justice isn’t just a lesson — it’s a calling!

High school is where decisions begin shaping destinies, and we are honored to show students that a career in public service isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to lead, to serve, and to make a lasting difference.

Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders, attorneys, judges, and civic servants. We are proud to help illuminate the path.
