We had so much fun in July playing Mahjong, we are doing it again next week! Don't miss your chance to take lessons or play in open play next Tuesday, October 13 at Sacred Heart. Open play sessions are 10:00- 1:00 and 6:00- 9:00 with a beginner session taught by Bird Bam Barnes at 2:30- 5:00. There will be a prize for best holiday-themed table! Want to introduce the students in your life to the lost art of silent movies? Join us for the Silent Movie Matinee on Wednesday, October 7 in the Great Hall of historic Sacred Heart. Theater organist, Ron Carter, will perform the soundtrack of two 1920s silent movie "shorts" and answer questions afterward about the evolution of the movie industry. Cost is $2 per student, $5 per adult. Light concessions will be available for purchase. Call Sacred Heart at 706-826-4700 to reserve your spot. This is wholesome fun for the young and the young at heart, all to benefit the ongoing preservation of Sacred Heart.

Silent Movie Night 2026 is only two weeks away! Our volunteers created the cutest centerpieces which capture the personality of this year's featured film, "The Kid." Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for the opening reception for the exhibit of Linda Hardy and Jack Roy.
