We're not one to brag. This is more of a thank you. We love it when campers jump on the opportunity to reserve their favorite Maine State Park campsites, and yesterday, opening day, was a doozy. We saw over 2,600 reservation transactions. A key metric happened at 9:04 a.m. when we recorded 299 transactions in a single minute. That crushed past years. We thank you, outdoors enthusiasts, for loving Maine State Parks. We thank our outstanding BPL reservation team and Office of Information Technology for managing this important day.

Lily Bay and Sebago Lake State Park reservations can be made now online at https://www.campwithme.com. All Maine State Park campground reservations open Tuesday, February 6, at 9 a.m.

Wondering about vehicle registrations during this emergency situation? Just this week, on May 26, 2020 Gov. Mills signed Executive Order 53-A, which means if a person can register their vehicle or trailer through their municipality or Bureau of Motor Vehicle Office, they are advised to do so as soon as possible. If your municipality is NOT accepting payments via Rapid Renewal, online, by mail, by telephone, or in the municipal office, you will have additional time to complete the process and we've provided a temporary registration letter. See our website homepage, maine.gov/sos for more information.
