During National EMS Week 2026, we proudly recognize and thank the dedicated EMS responders of Aurelia Fire & Rescue. This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” reflects the teamwork, compassion, and commitment our responders bring to every call, every patient, and every moment our community needs them most.

Thank you to Jim Bezoni, Spencer Bezoni, Luke Erpelding, Zach Erpelding, Leigh Peterson, Dustin Wieland, Chris Ernst, and Blake Suhr for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting and caring for our community each and every day. We’re thrilled to announce that the Aurelia Fire Department has received a generous $4,000 donation from AgState and Land O’Lakes! These funds will go directly toward equipping our new fitness room at the station, helping us prioritize the physical and mental well-being of our first responders!

🚒‼️ STATION UPDATE 🚒‼️
Been a bit since our last update. Things haven’t looked much different on the exterior as you drive by lately besides some finishing touches. Rest assured the inside is coming along very nicely and we are super excited to see this progress. Completion will be here before we know it! We thank everyone making this project possible. Donations are still welcomed - reminder any donation $500 or greater will have your name/business on display in the new station. Please reach out to us if that interests you or your business!

We are super excited to move across the street in the coming months and gaining over 4,000 sq ft of additional space to accommodate our department and our community!
