Please be your child’s first ring of safety, and ALWAYS WATCH your children when they are playing around water. Stay vigilant, a tragity can happen in an instant!

🚨Every year, nearly 300 children under the age of five drown in swimming pools, making it the leading cause of accidental death for children in that age range. And 87 percent of those fatalities are in backyard pools.😢
One of the best ways to reduce the risk of a child drowning in your pool or hot tub is to construct and maintain barriers such as pool safety fences, pool gates, power safety covers and alarms.
ALWAYS watch children around water!
Drowning is 100% preventable!

Pool toys are colorful and fun and children love to play with them.
🚨Don’t leave these items out when pool is not in use! Implement layers of safety by putting all pool toys away and securing the perimeter of your pool with a security fence and pool alarm.

Here are 5️⃣ Survival Skills every child should know!
💧Float or tread water for one minute.
💧Turn around in water to look for an exit.
💧Swim 25 yards to an exit.
💧Be able to exit the water without a ladder or stairs.
💧Step or jump into water over their head and resurface.
👍All these skills are perfected while our students work on learning to swim through our award winning swim lesson curriculum.
