🐺 Thank You, TW Families! 🍦💙

A huge thank you to all of our Wheatlands families who joined us for our monthly PTO-sponsored Culver’s Night! It was wonderful seeing so many of our Wolves and their families out enjoying the evening together.

A few familiar faces were also behind the counter! Mr. Fair, Mrs. McNanna, and Mrs. Bevilacqua from our office team had the opportunity to serve our families and have some fun with our students outside of the school day!

These dining nights are about so much more than dinner. They give our TW families another opportunity to connect, allow our students to interact with staff in a fun new setting, and help raise funds that go directly toward supporting our school and, most importantly, our students.

Thank you to our PTO for continuing to create these opportunities and to our families for always showing up for TW! 💙🐾

Next up... McTeacher Night on September 8! 🍟🍔 We can’t wait to see our Wheatlands families there!

🚧 Something BIG is happening at The Wheatlands! 🐺

For the past 25 years, our gym has been home to the same carpeted floor. This summer, that chapter is coming to an end.

When our Wolves return from summer break, they'll walk into something brand new that we can't wait to unveil!

We know our students are going to love it, and we can't wait to share the transformation with our Wheatlands community.

Wheatlands Elementary in West Aurora celebrate teacher retiring after 34 years

Today, The Wheatlands Elementary School had the incredible honor of celebrating Mrs. Julie Siebel and her amazing 23 year career of inspiring young minds, supporting children, and making a lasting impact through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to kids.

As part of today’s celebration, WGN News completed a special flyover of The Wheatlands to recognize Julie’s career and legacy. It created such a special moment for our students, staff, families, and community to come together and celebrate someone who has meant so much to so many.

Julie’s heart for children and the relationships she has built over the years have helped shape generations of Wolves, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has given to our school community.

Thank you to everyone who was able to share in this unforgettable moment with us today. Please enjoy some memories from this very special celebration! 💙🐺

7:00 – 7:10 AM: Arrive at the front of The Wheatlands.

The Vibe: Bring your horns, cowbells, signs, and energy for our morning dance party!

7:20 AM: Look up for the WGN Flyover! (weather permitting)
