This EMS Week, we congratulate Dr Anne Adema for her work - recognizing the needs for training EMS and ED providers when care for the critically ill child, and developing solutions.

Pediatric readiness looks like: PECCs! Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinators champion pediatric readiness in the ER. Nurses and physicians do not need special training in pediatrics to be a PECC, but they do need a passion for caring for kids! Check out the free and open source tools from the EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center for current and future PECCs.

The ED PECC modules are designed to support PECCs at every stage. They offer:
