Recently, Fox Valley United Way received a call from the skincare company Clearstem, offering a donation of more than 2,700 individual bottles of sunscreen. Our task: mobilizing our network to get the sunscreen exactly where it was needed.

Community partner and Fox Valley United Way friend, Norma Peterson, a Domestic Violence advocate and speaker, collected the sunscreen and personally distributed it to local pantries and domestic violence shelters.

Even small gestures of brightness have the power to bring us all together as a community. Thank you, Norma and Clearstem!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream at Fox Valley United Way's Annual Scoop!

Join us on Thursday, June 25th from 3-5 pm to celebrate our collective community impact.

Our Annual Scoop will be an afternoon of ice cream, specialty drinks, networking, and celebration as we reflect on the successes of the past year and look ahead toward what's next as a Fox Valley community.

The event will take place at Southbank Original Barbecue in Yorkville. Bring a friend, and an empty stomach!

As they crossed the finish line on their school year, students at Bednarcik Junior High in Aurora hosted a Walk-A-Thon benefitting our work here at Fox Valley United Way.

In just a few weeks, staff, students, and parents raised $1,336.19!!🤯

We're so grateful, and we know our neighbors in need are too. Thank you, Bednarcik!

The office of Senator Karina Villa is hosting an Expungement Clinic this Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Santori Library, located at 101 S. River St., Room 224, Aurora, IL 60506.

This is a free workshop in partnership with the West Side Justice Center and Challenge II Change, aimed at helping those with criminal records move forward with dignity.
