Our PTO garden team held Spring Planting Day the past Tuesday! Over 250 students, 11 teachers, and 11 volunteers spent the day planting starter plants and seeds in the school garden, including marigolds, petunias, sunflowers, cosmos, lavender, tomatoes, squash, pumpkins, carrots, beets, lettuce, gourds and more!
Students got their hands dirty, learned what seeds need to grow, and pretended to be bees during their time in the garden.
A great big Thank You goes out to our Garden co-chairs Wanda Patronella and Darcy Schenden and their volunteers for making this year's Planting Day a success! Wed also like to thank ADIO chiropractic of gardening tools for their generous donation!
