The Northgate Sign Restoration Project is at Van's Lock & Key Service today (5/23/26)! We will be showcasing the wooden sign by DB Woodworks and taking signups to volunteer or donate. Make sure to take your photo with the replica sign and tag us!

in Plano featured the story of the Northgate Shopping Center sign restoration project!

We are incredibly grateful for the growing support and enthusiasm from the community. It’s amazing to see how many people care about preserving this iconic piece of Aurora history.

At this time, the best way you can help is by sharing our page and spreading the word. Every share helps us reach more people who remember the sign and believe in bringing this landmark back to life.

We are still working on setting up the official donation account and will post an update as soon as everything is finalized.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Northgate Sign Restoration Project booth at Aurora GreenFest this weekend at the old post office on Benton Street… or as many others still remember it, SciTech Hands On Museum 😉

It was such a joy to meet so many of you, hear your Northgate memories, and share a little piece of Aurora’s story together. Conversations like these are exactly what make this project so meaningful… bringing history back to light, one story at a time.
