Montessori del Mundo Montessori del Mundo is a Public Charter School serving students from PK3 through 8th grade. In addition, we focus on social-emotional learning.

We offer a dual-language program in English and Spanish, using the Montessori method. We believe that children learn best when their instruction is individualized to their needs and when their teachers and curriculum support the development of all aspects of their personality going beyond the traditional subjects taught at school. We also believe that all children benefit from a bilingual education.

In Montessori, observation is an essential part of teaching. Guides take time to notice how each child works, what captures their interest, where they may need support, and when they are ready for a new challenge.

Observing before intervening allows teachers to respond more intentionally and give each child the space needed to develop confidence, concentration, and independence.

In Montessori, long work periods give children the time they need to truly enter a process of concentration, exploration, and discovery. Instead of constantly moving from one activity to another, they have time to follow an idea, work through challenges, and complete their work at their own pace.

Helping a child does not mean stepping in right away. When we give children time to think, try, and solve problems independently, we strengthen their confidence and ability to face new challenges.

In Montessori, supporting children also means observing, offering guidance when needed, and trusting that each child can develop their own abilities.

Ayudar a un niño no significa intervenir de inmediato. Cuando le damos tiempo para pensar, intentar y resolver por sí mismo, fortalecemos su confianza y su capacidad para enfrentar nuevos retos.

En Montessori, acompañar también significa observar, ofrecer apoyo cuando es necesario y confiar en que cada niño puede desarrollar sus propias habilidades.
