Mr. Mayor: Stop Yourself.

In November of last year, Mayor Laesch emphasized that public safety would not be compromised due to budget concerns. Specifically, the mayor stated, “Correcting our financial course is difficult, but we are doing it in a responsible manner that does not compromise safety”.

Chasing federal law enforcement agents charged with the apprehension of known criminals runs counter to the mayor’s stated public safety concerns. Additionally, his actions have put law enforcement officers at risk.

Mr. Mayor, STOP the divisive political stunts and focus on making Aurora a better place for all its citizens.
