This was an amazing experience. The AFD and departments from around the state sent 15 engines to fill in and work along side the local fire departments. While there we managed to help in so many was, placing tarps on roofs, and handing out emergency supplies. We work along side some amazing people at the Bayou Blue Volunteer Fire Department. The fire service never ceases to amaze me. I’ve never been so proud, of the members of the team I had the honor working with, and the men and women we got to work with.
